You have questions, I have answers!
What are curated gift baskets?
Curated gift baskets are carefully designed collections of items centered around a specific theme, showcasing unique thrifted goods. I love a theme and believe that you will find one that is perfect for anyone on your giftgiving list!
Can I request a custom gift basket?
Absolutely! We welcome custom orders to create the perfect basket tailored to your needs and preferences. Check out out our Custom Gift Basket Page.
Where can I buy your baskets?
You can purchase our baskets online (online store coming soon!) or at various craft sales across Alberta and Canada. Check out the Come See Me Page to find out where I will be next!
What condition is your secondhand stuff in?
Great question! I am very particular about the items I buy and take great care to inspect each and every piece before it goes into a basket. If I wouldn't want to receive it as a gift, nobody will. I take extra time to wash and clean every single item I buy. Check out my video on the cleaning process!
How do you ship baskets?
I select a basket with no handles, to fit nicely into a shipping box. Then, as much as possible, pack all the items securely into the basket. Sometimes baskets contain extra breakable items that I add some bubble wrap around to ensure it reaches its destination intact. I will wrap your basket and add a beautiful ribbon, then pack it all into a box with dye free packing paper. You will need to fluff the basket wrap when you receive it. I am exploring the use of shrink wrap for future use...
What is a Thrift Crawl?
A thrift crawl is a fun, guided shopping adventure that takes a group of people to visit multiple thrift stores, vintage shops, antique stores and secondhand boutiques in a single outing. Similar to a pub crawl or food tour, participants travel from location to location, in style together on a Motor Coach exploring hidden treasures, unique finds, and great deals along the way.
At Amber's Adventures, our thrift crawls are about more than just shopping—they're about the thrill of the hunt, discovering one-of-a-kind items, connecting with a community of fellow treasure hunters, and promoting sustainable shopping. Participants can enjoy themed challenges, swap thrifting tips, find inspiration for upcycling projects, and uncover unexpected gems they might never have found on their own.
Whether you're a seasoned thrifter or brand new to secondhand shopping, a thrift crawl offers a fun and social way to explore an areas' stores, support community businesses, and experience the excitement of finding treasures with friends.
Think of it as a treasure hunt, road trip, and shopping adventure all rolled into one!
Will I get a physical ticket?

It's a week before the Thrift Crawl and I haven't heard anything!
Please check your SPAM folder! I send an email out 2 weeks prior to the event, as well as a couple days prior to the event to all participants. This email contains lots of valuable information and a link to a Photo Release that is needed prior to the event starting (Amber will also have paper copies at the bus loading but its definitely easier to do online! If you purchased for other people, please forward this email to those other people so they have the info as well.
Most SPAM folders are set to delete after 10 days, so if you check after 10 days, it may not be there! Just contact me and I can re-send!
What is the refund policy?
You can receive a full refund up to 7 (seven) days prior to the Thrift Crawl. Please just send an email and allow a couple days to receive your funds back.
